so i didn't wear green today, but i did wear gold and blue and those make green, so technically no one should dare pinching me. more importantly, i wanted to show you something that i did this week. i have a print by a lovely portland based artist, lisa kaser. i had it in a temporary frame just to get it on the wall, but a great deal came along and i finally got it the frame it deserves. a lovely burl wood frame that normally would've been out of my price range, but like i said, a great deal came along. anyway, here's the print, along with what i wore today.
hat: jcp
black flower clip: actually one from a pair of shoe clips, old navy
dress: goodwill, originally from forever21
belt: used to be my mom's
sweater: target
tights: vera wang
shoes: jessica simpson
the funny part is, i didn't plan on the girl and i matching :)
in addition to the new frame, i added the auburn mat between the original white one and the print. i think it compliments both the frame and the print.
p.s. looks like i wasn't the only one wearing blue and gold today. or my jessica simpson platforms. check out a beautiful mess to see how she worked the combo.
